Circular Parish Walks

Following are 6 circular walks within the parish which have been prepared by members of the Footpath Committee with the help of volunteers under the Parish Paths Partnership Scheme (P3). We look forward to receiving your comments on these walks and suggestions for others. You may find the Ordnance Survey Map Sheet ST30 scale 1:25 000 useful if the paths are not familiar to you. Enjoy the walks and views but remember the Countryside Code:

  • Use gates and stiles to cross fences, hedges and walls but remember to fasten and
leave all gates as you find them.
  • Keep your dogs under close control and on a lead where livestock is present.
  • Keep to public paths across farmland.
  • Leave livestock, crops and machinery alone
  • Take your litter home
  • Help to keep all water clean
  • Protect wildlife, plants and trees
  • Take special care on country roads
  • Make no unnecessary noise.
